APPOINTMENTS

A two-day block of time is needed for a Candidate Assessment (those seeking or considering ordination in Protestant ministry) or a Standard Assessment (almost everyone else, including ordained clergy as well as people in other occupations, such as law, teaching, medicine, administration, the arts, etc.).

For both programs, there is work to do before you come to the Center. All of the tests and inventories that we use in our programs are available on this website or at other websites to which we will direct you. Plan to schedule a minimum of two weeks and preferably three weeks to a month between the time you register and the date of your appointment. After completing the registration process, you can begin to download and complete materials for your program on your computer. When completed, you will email or send, by US Post or Fax, the materials back to the counselor that is assigned to work with you. Some of the inventories that you will complete are accessed through the websites of the companies that produce them. Your counselor will go to these websites and collect your results when these companies automatically notify the Center that you have completed them.

Have your calendar ready when you call the Center at 781-329-2100 to set up your appointment. Our administrators will inform you about open dates. You need to let the administrator know whether a Monday-Tuesday time frame or a Thursday-Friday time frame is better for you. Next, you need to download our application form and complete it. Then e-mail or mail the application to us with a deposit of $450.00 to hold your dates. It is possible to pay for the Center's fees with a credit card. If you wish to use a credit card to make your depopsit, you may do so by phone or by providing this information in print on your application.

If you are participating in a group program, a Sojourners program, a New Visions retirement seminar, or a Direction-Finder program (high school/college), your appointment and program schedule will be slightly different. Ask the Center administrators for details.
