The work of following and developing your ministerial formation is challenging and sometimes trying. This requires placing your story and your faith journey, as well as life’s twists and turns, in perspective with the call to ministry to which you have responded. There will be times in ministry when being able to share with another in pastoral care conversation is an essential part of the human and spiritual formation process. This calls for an evolving understanding of who you are now and who you are becoming in God through experiences and relationships. Beyond conversations with your pastor, clergy colleagues and faculty advisors, there are resources in Richmond that can provide support if you are seking more in-depth conversations.
